Originally Erastudio Apartment-Gallery from 2020 Era Design Gallery is a collectible design gallery, founded in Milan in 2010 by Patrizia Tenti in an Apartment on the third floor of a late 19th century building in Brera District. The gallery specialises in artistic movement “Radical Architecture” (antifunctional design too) a term coined by the art critic Germano Celant in 1972 to indicate the architectural experiments that resulted in the artistic field, in the period of the Sixties and Seventies, of which they were part, just to name a few: Gianni Pettena, Ettore Sottsass, Ugo la Pietra, Remo Buti.
Nine years of established position in the main international fairs, where the artist Nanda Vigo was the exclusive curator for most of 8 years for the exhibitions and fair such as Zona Maco, Miart, Design Miami/Basel, Artgenève and which as brought some of these artists into permeating collections of international public Institution and Museums.
In 2019 the gallery doubles with the opening of Era Gallery a modern and contemporary art gallery located in Brera in Milan Italy, in a former XIX century stable.
For this reason in 2020 Erastudio turned into Era Design Gallery that focuses its research promoting historical and contemporary design from Italy, Asia, Africa and America building a dialogue between different generations in order to draw out topical issues. The gallery keep on collaborating directly with museums and public institutions.
